The SJ Mercury News “Where We Live” feature on WG was thorough — almost like a complete edition of the WG Resident, without the reporters we all know and love. Over the next few weeks, there’s a good chance that WGx will trot out some more thoughts on some of the articles.

But since today is Sunday, and Christmas is coming, it seemed like a good idea to highlight the Merc’s rundown of churches: WG Houses of Worship.

If you’re using the printed edition, however, be aware that the originally published list was incomplete. The Merc “set the record straight” on Tuesday, November 20, with an additional four churches originally left off the list.

An article Sunday in a special section about Willow Glen omitted some places of worship that are within the official boundaries of that area of San Jose.

Ahabat Torah Congregation, Congregation Am Echad, Congregation Sinai, and the Croatian Catholic Mission Assumption of Mary are now included in the online list.

You won’t get any argument from WGx that those organization are indeed in Willow Glen, but all of us would probably question the Merc’s “official boundaries,” whatever those are. Then again, it might be easier to define the “Willow Glen” neighborhood than it is to define the phrase “House of Worship” … ? ;-)
